Welcome to NAMEES KENNEL, We are a small family kennel located
in Minnesota. When our family made a move 15 years ago, we were able
to purchase a nice little hobby farm, which soon after - we added a kennel
facility. It seems like every year we are making changes and adding
this and that, some-day we'll have it just the way we want it !
This site is dedicated to our love of our Cocker Spaniels, Who have owned
and loved us for so long. 25 years ago my husband gave me a Cocker
Spaniel for Christmas and our family has grown from there. We often
said "If only we had known how nice dogs were - "before" we had our own kids."
How true that is, isn't it? (To my kids - - - now, You must really know we
wouldn't of had it any other way, We love you and are glad that God sent
you to us!) NOW ON TO THE FOUR LEGGED KIDS - - - - - - - - - - -
Our main priority is in the care of our dogs, they have very "spacious"
indoor/outdoor runs which is roofed over and screened in. The main part of
their building is heated, we have closed circuit TV monitors to keep track
of things "when it's needed", and music is always on. We have 18 acres here
and about 1/2 of that is divided up in different sections and fenced with
chain-link fencing. There are lots of trees and we have a natural creek flowing
thru our property. During the non-snow months our dogs are outside most of
the time, playing in the grass and keeping cool from the shade of the
trees.
"Our Kennel"
All our dogs - started out living in our house, so they are well bonded
to people, very friendly and well mannered. They all take their turns
"visiting" the house. Ollie is our permanent resident in the
house, and top dog around here.
Our Breeding Program has always been to better the breed, and raise the
healthiest babies we could. Most of our puppies are sold as pets, some for
show (more of these to come!)
We are currently showing 2 of our dogs - its been a slow start on my behalf
- but I'm learning and expect to do a lot more showing in the future. (I've
caught the show "bug")
